Medovra works as an online doctor appointment booking system in the patient's phone browser. No login and no account are needed. The flow only asks for what your clinic's setup requires.
Choose branch and doctor
If your clinic has more than one branch, the patient picks a branch first. If it has more than one doctor, they pick a doctor next. A single-doctor, single-location clinic skips both steps, so patients go straight to the calendar. Clinics with several centres can read more about clinics with multiple branches.
Pick from real available slots
Patients only see days when the chosen doctor actually consults at that branch, and only the times that are still open. Slots come from each doctor's weekly schedule, not from generic 9-to-5 hours. To help patients decide quickly, the first three available slots are marked "Recommended".
Book in a few quick steps
The booking form is short and familiar to Indian patients:
- Name and mobile number (the +91 country code is filled in already)
- Address
- Date of birth, or age in years, months or days (handy for parents booking for a baby, or patients who don't remember an exact DOB)
- Email (optional)
Once the booking is made, the patient gets a confirmation by WhatsApp, SMS or email, using the first channel your clinic has turned on that reaches them.
No double-booking, ever

- Slots follow the doctor's real schedule. Each doctor's weekly timings define which slots exist.
- Taken slots are hidden. Any slot that overlaps an appointment the doctor already has (one that isn't cancelled) doesn't appear.
- Checked again at confirmation. If someone else books the same time while a patient is still filling in the form, Medovra re-checks availability before confirming.

One calendar for online, WhatsApp, walk-in and front-desk bookings
Online booking doesn't replace your front desk. It feeds the same calendar. Every appointment in Medovra is tagged with where it came from: the website booking page, WhatsApp, or the admin panel. Receptionists can still add walk-in patients and phone bookings, and the same doctor calendar and availability rules apply to all of them. Doctors see their own appointment list for the day.

Frequently asked questions
Do patients need to download an app or create an account to book?
No. Medovra's booking page is an ordinary web link that opens in any phone or computer browser. Patients don't install an app, create an account or remember a password. They choose a slot, enter their details and book. That makes it easy for every age group, including older patients and parents booking for their children.
How does Medovra prevent double-booking?
Medovra checks availability at the doctor level. Slots that overlap any appointment the doctor already has (one that isn't cancelled) are hidden from the booking page, and availability is checked again just before the booking is confirmed. If another patient took the slot a moment earlier, the second patient is asked to choose a different time instead of being double-booked.
Can patients book with a specific doctor at a specific branch?
Yes. If your clinic has several doctors or several branches, the booking page asks the patient to choose a branch and then a doctor. It then shows only the days and times that doctor consults at that branch. Single-doctor clinics skip these steps automatically.
What do Medovra's AI features do?
